Local Tutoring

At “The Play Lab”, we provide a learning atmosphere that is kid-friendly & developmentally appropriate. We provide manipulatives, art supplies, sensory experiences & movement-based learning to support the whole child.

Reading – We support all five areas of literacy: phonemic awareness, phonic, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.  Writing support, also!

Math – We support all areas of math/number sense: number recognition, numerals, rote counting, one-to-one correspondence, basic operations, order of operations, fractions, decimals, word problems, etc.

Early Intervention – We support the whole child by introducing math and reading concepts through small motor and large motor activities.

However, most importantly – NO worksheets and ZERO technology.
